Dressing for the Holidays

I love the holiday season because it gives me a reason to dress up in something festive. I always keep a little black dress in my closet that I can wear for a special occasion like a Christmas party or a New Year’s Eve celebration.

I picked up this cocktail dress from Lord & Taylor several years ago. I love a little sparkle, especially for the holidays, and the jewel neckline is the perfect embellishment to elevate the dress. The sheer overlay gives it a flowy feel that is elegant, flattering, and comfortable.

I accessorized with black open toe heels that have a similar jewel embellishment as the dress. Then I added rhinestone drop earrings and a black rhinestone clutch to complete the look.

I believe fashion is all about how you feel, so go for the dress that makes you sparkle inside and out.

As we come to the end of 2022, I’m using this time to reflect on all of the blessings in my life. I started this blog because it was something that I always wanted to do, and I’m so glad I stepped out on faith. I’m thankful for my family and friends who continue to support and encourage me on this journey.
